As a 14 year old South East London “Reggae Boy”, my earliest introduction to dance music was the ‘ Lewisham Boys Club Dance ‘ – I can remember the DJ’s set list like it was yesterday.
This led me on a musical awakening and I’ve grown to love and appreciate all aspects of ‘Black Music:….Soul, R&B , Hip Hop, Jazz and House.
Sometimes its hard or unfair to label music into a ‘Genre’, but if it has ‘That Thing’….’That
Spirit’, then I’ll ‘Digg It’, and hopefully you will too.
For me music is like a life journey, so come and share that journey with me.
