Dan was 14 years old when he first got behind a set of turntables and like most DJs started off playing at friends parties for fun. Then as he got more into it started buying more equipment and putting on his own parties, doing mobile gigs and also DJing pubs.

In 1997 aged 19 Dan gave up work and opened ‘Sunshine Records’ in Gravesend, Kent. By then the DJing work was coming in thick and fast and Dan was working 5 nights a week with various residencies all over the South East and abroad.

In 2001 Dan had his first bootleg release of Toploaders ‘Dancing in the Moonlight’ which sold over 2000 copies. The next 5 years saw over 50 vinyl releases plus remixes for DMC. As vinyl sales decreased Dan stopped releasing records and just put his mixes up for download on Soundcloud which he still does today.

Dan enjoys playing commercial club music and you can hear him play every week at his current Friday and Saturday night residencies in Kent.
