Ray “RJ” Waters Profile.

Right here goes,

My name is Ray but I’m known as “RJ”. I have been interested in Soul, Funk, Electro, Rare Groove and also a bit of Reggae since the early 80’s, being influenced by a few good friends of mine, I started Djing in 1986 in a little wine bar in Croydon, Surrey, by accident really, as the resident DJ didn’t turn up, I asked the owner where he was and then proceeded to ask if I could “stick some music on” he said go ahead, he must have been impressed as he asked me to do a regular weekly slot, I ended up being there for 5 years. I have done the usual mobile discos, a few events here and there. But enjoy music so much I wanted to get into radio so I could share my enjoyment of great music, I have been on internet radio stations now for the last 4 years.
